The resources listed on this page provide some options for storing images via browser based applications and software. The Williams and Clark libraries do not promote or support services provided by these vendors, but the various products and websites offer options that you may find helpful to use or at least to know about.

Image management online tools

Expono
Offers unlimited photo storage and sharing. Photos can be organized and edited online. Expono offers free accounts.
Flickr
Offers unlimited photo storage and sharing, and allows users to organize photos online. Flickr offers free accounts.
Photobucket
Offers unlimited photo storage and sharing, and users can organize and edit photos online. Photobucket offers free accounts.
Snapfish
Offers unlimited photo storage, and users can also purchase photo prints. Snapfish offers free accounts. Photo print prices are available on the Snapfish website.
iPhoto
An image software application used to browse, edit, and share photos. iPhoto is Mac compatible.
Adobe Bridge
An image software application primarily created and used to link images throughout the Adobe Creative Suite. Adobe Bridge is Mac and PC compatible.
Pinterest
Pinterest is a pinboard-style photo-sharing website that allows users to create and manage theme-based image collections such as events, interests, and hobbies. Users can browse other pinboards for images, "re-pin" images to their own pinboards, or "like" photos.

Adobe
A commercial software company which offers a large product family that allows users to digitally create, edit, and alter still images as well as moving images. Adobe software is available for purchase, and is Mac and PC compatible.
Adorama
A photography retail store based in New York City, but offers international online product services. Adorama provides a variety of photo equipment, accessories, and software.
B & H
An online photography retail store that offers audio, video, and photo equipment and accessories. Used items are also available for purchase.
Canto
Cumulus is a software that allows users to store and manage any digital file in an online catalog, which can be accessed and shared from anywhere, with anyone of your choosing. Canto Cumulus is available for purchase, and is Mac and PC compatible. A free trial is also available for download.
Hindsight Ltd.
Offers software for business-minded photographers. It allows photographers to keep track of stock, accounting, invoices, and many other things that go beyond photography and into business. Hindsight Ltd. is available for purchase, and is Mac and PC compatible. A free trial is also available for download.
Idee Inc.
Offers image recognition and tracking services on the web. It has an image recognition engine that can take any given photo and track matches. Services with Idee Inc. can be purchased online.
Graphic Authority
Offers tools and templates that allow photographers to create finished products such as albums and cards. Tools and templates are available for purchase.
ThumbsPlus
Image editing software that allows users to turn any image into an editable thumbnail image. ThumbsPlus is available for purchase, and is PC compatible.
